News Americas, HUDSON, NJ, Mon. Nov. 21, 2011: A 45-year-old New Jersey man has been charged with sexual assault of a Guyanese-American teen he allegedly lured into a relationship via the Internet.

Police has charged Jorge Garzon, 45, with sexual assault, child endangerment and child abuse of 13-year-old Massachusetts teen, Alexandra ‘Allie’ Loftis.

The teen, born to a Guyanese father, Tony Loftis, 47, was found in Garzon’s Jersey City basement apartment. A neighbor said the young girl looked happy and relaxed and he assumed she was a relative of Garzon, saying that they ‘touched’ and ‘hugged’ one another in a close way.

Police said a tip led them to the girl on November 16th. Garzon and the teen are believed to have met online, a sources close to the investigation told NJ.com.

Allie Loftis, an eighth grader, ran away from her home in Massachusetts on Nov. 4. She reportedly boarded a Peter Pan bus from Wayland, Mass. home on Nov. 4 and travelled to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
