News Americas Now, PHILADELPHIA October 26, 2016 — The African and Caribbean Business Council (ACBC) is hosting its 7th Winter Awards and Dinner Gala on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Hilton Philadelphia Airport Hotel, 4509 Island Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19153.   The day’s events will commence with a Business Roundtable from 9am-2pm, a VIP Reception from 6 pm-7 pm, and the Award Dinner from7pm-10pm.

Ambassadors from South Africa, the Ivory Coast, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, St. Kitts, Senegal, Liberia, Guinea and Mali are confirmed to attend.

The goal of ACBC is to promote and preserve African and Caribbean business interests both here and abroad, by driving economic development and expanding access to global markets. The organization has grown to become the most influential business organization among the African and Caribbean Diaspora in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Several individuals who are at the center of creating a culture of change, quality, and empowerment within the African and Caribbean community will receive awards in several areas including in Innovation, Excellence, Service, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Person of the Year, ACBC’s Medal of Honor and ACBC’s Company of The Year..
