News Americas, BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Fri. July 17, 2015, 2:06 p.m.: Barbadians again felt the earth shake today.
The UWI Seismic Unit reported a 4.2 earthquake at 2:06 p.m. today. The tremor occurred at 121 km NE of Bridgetown, Barbados. The quake also was felt 241 km E of Castries, Saint Lucia and 265 km ESE of Fort-de-France, Martinique.
The recent tremors come on the heels of 6 earthquakes north-east of Barbados Thursday. The earthquakes were reportedly felt throughout Barbados, St. Vincent, Grenada, St. Lucia, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana. No damage or injuries were reported.
The quakes on Thursday ranged between magnitudes from 3.4 to 6.4 and depths from 61km to 111 km.
