Oct. 26, 2012: Celebrating the 67th founding of the United Nations, Wednesday October 24, 2012, Stevie Wonder, performed and artistically directed this year’s United Nations Day Concert. Wonder, who is a member of the UN’s Messenger of Peace program, has lent his star power to numerous humanitarian initiatives affecting the lives of individuals around the world

With songs of love, hope and peace, Stevie Wonder, was joined by some of his powerhouse colleagues on stage, including BeBe Winans, Valerie Simpson, Sting, Dough E. fresh, Janelle Monae, Estelle, Freddie Jackson, Stephanie Mills, The Wonder Girls, Elle Varner, L. Subramaniam, The Preservation jazz Hall Band and Wyclef Jean. The concert’s theme was “a message of peace” and called on all to think about their humanitarian work.
