News Americas, PARIS, France, Mon. July 11, 2011: Jamaica’s Usain Lightning Bolt struck in Paris again Friday, claiming the win in the 200-m sprint.

Bolt won at the IAAF Paris Diamond League meet on the freshly-laid track in the Stade de France in Saint-Denis in a time of 20.03.

Christophe Lemaitre was second in a time of 20.21 seconds.

Bolt will defend his 200 and 100-m titles at the August 27-September 4 world championships in Daegu, South Korea.

Meanwhile, fellow Jamaican, Asafa Powell, won the Diamond League men’s 100-m in Birmingham, ahead of countrymen Nesta Carter (9.93) and Michael Frater (10.01).

It was down on the world-leading 9.78 he recorded in Lausanne on June 30, but still enough for his third Diamond League victory of the season.
