News Americas, MIAMI, FL, Fri. April 13, 2018: Haitian-American singer, Jason Derulo, is putting his parents’ homeland in the spotlight in his new video for the World Cup soccer tournament.
Derulo’s catchy, up-tempo The three-and-a-half-minute “Colors” video, released on Wednesday, April 11, showcases the beautiful scenery from The Citadel Laferriére, a mountaintop fortress located in North, Haiti.
“Colors” is the Coca-Cola anthem for this year’s World Cup and is taking the message of unity globally.
“Ready the people/ A new day has just begun/ And I wear my colors on my back (celebrate, celebrate)/ We’re created equal/ One race, and that’s human/ Can’t wait till they all see, all see that,” Derulo sings.
