News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Feb. 9, 2018: A Caribbean hotel has bagged a coveted spot in TripAdvisor’s top 25 best hotels for service globally.
The honor goes to Coco Plum Island Resort in Belize, where guests rave that “everything about Coco Plum is top notch.” The resort was ranked at ninth globally out of the top 25 list, making it one of the top 10 best worldwide when it comes to service excellence.
The number one spot in the world went to the Riad Kheirredine in Marrakech, Morocco.
Coco Plum is located on its own 16-acre island and is surrounded by palm trees. It is off the coast of a sleepy town, 80 miles south of Belize City named Dangriga. Belize City is only a two-hour flight from several major U.S. cities such as Miami, Houston, or Dallas.
This all-inclusive resort features colorful cabanas with 18 facing the sea, tropical artwork and Bluetooth speakers, as well as minifridges, tea and coffeemakers, and decks with hammocks. Upgraded cabanas inclue kitchenettes, sitting areas and sofabeds. A 3-bedroom villa over the water is available and room service is offered in some quarters.
Here you can enjoy dinner under starlit nights on the resort’s docks or on the beach and wake up to breakfast with blissful sunrises, viewed right from the balcony of your cabana.
A wood-paneled restaurant offers outdoor seating while other amenities include a bar and water sports. The all-inclusive packages here include a private cabana, all meals, boat transfer, daily housekeeping and water sports and starts at around $3,255 for a four-night stay. Tours range from snorkeling on the Belize Barrier Reef to hiking ancient Maya ruins in Belize’s tropical jungle.
