News Americas, LAS VEGAS, NV, Fri. May 6, 2013: Latin and Caribbean stars are set to make their presence felt this month at the Billboard Music Awards, where at least three of the region’s top acts will perform.

Trinidad & Tobago-born rapper, Nicki Minaj will team with Lil Wayne for a performance while at the May 19 event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
From the Latin realm, Christina and Selena Gomez will perform.

Also set to perform are Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, the Band Perry, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves, Prince Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran, Akon, Ne-Yo, David Guetta and “I Love It” breakthrough act, Icona Pop.

Prince is set to receive the Billboard Icon Award. Bieber, Swift and Mars are also vying for the Milestone Award, presented by Chevrolet, which is a fan-driven honor that one voter will get to present at the show alongside Cee Lo Green.

The Las Vegas show will air on ABC at 8 ET, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena with “30 Rock” alum, Tracy Morgan, set to host.
