A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck in Road Town, British Virgin Islands Sunday, according to the USGS, which was followed by two smaller after shocks. No injuries or damages were reported. 18 smaller quakes were registered in Puerto Rico and the DR.

The Caribbean region finished with 18 medals at the 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 Sunday. Jamaica led the medal count for the region with 12 followed by three for Cuba, two for the Bahamas and 1 for Grenada.
