Three Caribbean countries will again be excluded from the annual US green card or Diversity Visa lottery. They are the Dominican Republic Haiti and Jamaica.

More massive protest is expected in Haiti today including at the U.N. headquarters in Port-au-Prince, near the airport, adding to the over two weeks of deadly anti-government gatherings that have brought thousands to the streets of the capital to demand President Jovenel Moise step down.

Little Haiti, Florida-based Family Action Network Movement on Thursday denounced the Bahamian government’s decision to renew immigration enforcement and called on U.S. officials to act to support storm-ravaged immigrants on the islands.
