US-Based Trinidad National Found Dead In Homeland
A 74-year-old Trinidad-born, US-based national has been found dead in Trinidad after going missing upon arrival there last Tuesday. The body of Yvonne “Eve” Trumpet-Nicholson, of Brooklyn, NY, was found on Monday at about 2 p.m. near the T&T Defence Force’s base in Cumuto, Trinidad. Guyana President Back Home After Cancer Diagnosis
Guyana’s President David Granger and his wife, Sandra Granger, returned to the South American CARICOM nation Tuesday night from the Republic of Cuba after spending approximately three weeks there following a cancer diagnosis of the President. Barbados Signs US $100 Million Loan With IDB
The government of Barbados has signed on to a US$100 million loan with the Inter-American Development Bank to support the Barbados Economic and Recovery Transformation (BERT) Plan.
