Usain Bolt Trolls ‘The Beast’

Jamaican athletics great Usain Bolt seems to be his former Racers Track Club teammate, Yohan ‘The Beast’ Blake. His reaction came after Blake said Bolt’s earth shattering exploits on the track overshadowed him.

Bolt responded to Blake’s claims on his social media page in a jocularly simplistic fashion by posting “Overshadow” and emojis apparently depicting him asking: “What is he talking about?”

Blake grabbed headlines recently with claims that his career was overshadowed by the blinding speed of compatriot Bolt, the world’s fastest ever human being.

Lone West Indies Player In Top 10 Of Men’s T20I Batting Rankings

Just one single West Indies player has made the Top 10 ranks of the latest ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings. Evin Lewis ranks at number 7 on the list, dropping down one spot.

Lewis is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays as a left-handed opening batsman. Generally, a fast scoring batsman, Lewis is only the third batsman to score two Twenty20 International centuries.

Unfortunately, he was taken to a hospital in India on Wednesday after injuring his right knee while fielding in the Windies’ third T20I against India.

No West Indies player has managed to crack the Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings or the T20I All-Rounder Rankings.

Bengaluru FC To Sign Jamaican Soccer Player

ISL champions Bengaluru FC is set to sign Jamaican forward Deshorn Brown in January, according to The Bridge.

Bengaluru have only scored seven goals in seven games so far, and for a side that has been usually free scoring in the last two ISL seasons, this has been a big shift.

Brown is a 28-year-old striker, who has spent most of his club career playing in the USA, in the MLS and USL. He currently plays for Oklahoma City Energy in the USL, having also featured for DC United and Colorado Rapids in the MLS. He also had a small stint with Lorca FC in the Spanish Tercera Division.
