Canada is warning its nationals to exercise a high degree of caution if travelling to Guyana due to high crime rates there.

Dengue fever is continuing to be a problem in some Caribbean nations. Thirty-five cases of dengue have been confirmed by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the cdc is urging travelers to take all safety precautions.

Half Moon, Jamaica is set to launch Eclipse at Half Moon in March 2020. Eclipse is billed as “one of the most luxurious additions to the Caribbean in a generation.”

Destination Jamaica and LATAM Airlines recently celebrated a major milestone with the arrival of the airline’s first ever nonstop flight from Lima, Peru to Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport. The flight debuted on December 2nd.

Barbados has grabbed the number 6 spot on the latest travel and leisure’s The 50 Best Places to Travel in 2020.

Balearia has resumed its regular sailings from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to Grand BahamA following the September Hurricane.

And Parang is coming to Niagara, Canada. The event brings Christmas and the Caribbean together and is scheduled for Dec. 21 at a St. Catharines winery, 1607 Eighth Avenue Louth in St. Catharines, Niagara.
