News Americas, BOGOTA, Colombia, Tues. June 28, 2011: A 47-year-old man suspected to be a go-between for the Los Comba gang in Colombia has been nabbed by police in the South American nation.

John Giraldo, according to Colombian security officials, was arrested in Medellin, the capital of the northwestern province of Antioquia, in a joint operation staged by the National Police’s criminal investigations division and Interpol.

Giraldo was the go-between for the Los Comba gang, led by brothers Enrique and Javier Antonio Calle Serna. They are suspected to running a smuggling operation that sent cocaine from ports in Colombia and Panama to Europe.
