News Americas, IMPERIAL VALLEY, CA, Fri. Aug. 22, 2014: Twenty-nine pounds of cocaine hidden in two wooden rocking horses with an estimated street value of $377,000 was this week busted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.
Officers detected anomalies inside the wooden structures of the horses being carried by a 28-year-old male at the Calexico downtown port in California. The officers continued their search by drilling into the wood, ultimately discovering 10 packages hidden inside.
The packages field-tested positive as cocaine and yielded a total weight of more than 29 pounds.
