News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. June 17, 2011: Grammy-winning reggae star Damian Marley is now one-fifth of the all-star quintet Super Heavy.

The singer has joined the group that will also comprise of the Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone and Indian film composer A.R. Rahman.

According to RollingStone.com, the five some have been secretly recording its debut over the past 18 months, with plans to unleash its first album in September 2011.

“It’s different from anything else I’ve ever been involved in,” said Jagger. “The music is very wide-ranging – from reggae to ballads to Indian songs in Urdu.”

There are currently no tour dates scheduled for Super Heavy, but they haven’t ruled it out.
