News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Sept. 7, 2018: Defending CPL T-20 champs, Trinbago Knight Riders, were back on top of the 2018 points table Thursday with 6 wins and 12 points so far in the competition.

The Knight Riders seem focused on lifting the 2018 trophy again, losing only two of their matches so far. The Knight Riders beat the Guyana Amazon Warriors by 67 runs at the Queen’s Park Oval to claim the top spot, thanks to Colin Munro.

It was an impressive win by the Knight Riders, with just three group-stage games remaining – two of them featuring the Knight Riders – they are looking good for an all-important top finish.

The biggest upset, however so far, has come from the St. Kitts Patriots, which is now in number 2 on the table with 11 points, besting both Guyana’s Amazon Warriors into third and Jamaica’s Tallawahs into fourth with 10 points apiece, respectively.

Upcoming Fixtures This Weekend:

September 7th – Trinbago Knight Riders take on Barbados Trident at Queens Park Oval from 8 p.m.;

September 8th – Guyana Amazon Warriors face the Tallwahs again at Providence Stadium in Guyana;
