News Americas, BROOKLYN, New York, Fri. Sept. 9, 2011: Get ready for another Gay Caribbean USA Pageant.
The 2001 edition is set for Saturday, September 24th at the Restoration Plaza – 1368 Fulton Street in Brooklyn, NY from 8 p.m.
This is the third year of the event. Nine contestants will be vying for the crown and for the first time, a lesbian will be among the contenders. Usually, the competitors are male impersonators and transsexuals.
The 2011 contestants are Devina Badree of Trinidad & Tobago; Alicia Dupree from Bahamas; Charley Marie representing Jamaica; Theosha Toppin of Barbados; St. Lucia’s Kim; Chanel International from Dominican Republic;Vivica Van Cartier from Guyana; La Belle Labeija of Haiti and Puerto Rico’s Stefon Royce.
