News Americas, ORLANDO, FL, Fri. June 17, 2011: What does Micky Mouse and great food and win have in common?

Well the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival for one. The event comes to Epcot Orlando, FL from September 30 – November 13, 2011 as the theme park will be transformed into a food and wine lover’s paradise with specialty food items, culinary events, sophisticated parties and live musical entertainment.

More than 25 international marketplace kiosks are set to serve up tapas-sized portions of regional specialties from countries on 6 continents through their most mouthwatering foods and beverages.

Look for Kalua pork sliders in Hawaii, ropa vieja in the Caribbean and calamari salad in Portugal.

Additionally, the Chef’s Tasting Wine Dinner at the Flying Fish Cafe will be a unique opportunity to taste savory selections from a 6-course prix fixe menu, along with expertly chosen wines while the Dine with an Imagineer will offer engaging conversation with a Disney Imagineer, a 4-course meal and a special souvenir.

Fans will also be able to enjoy American cuisine from the buffet while meeting characters at the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast or Wonderland Tea Party.

Musical entertainment will also pair perfectly with culinary fun during the nightly Eat to the Beat and concert series that will feature a varied line-up of classic rock, soul, R&B, jazz and funk hit-makers including Taylor Dane.
