News Americas, BROOKLYN, NY, Thurs. June 16, 2011: With U.S. deportation rates at an all time high, Congressman Luis Gutierrez and Congresswoman Yvette Clarke are teaming up to highlight the importance of keeping families together.
The two will host a free public immigration forum this Saturday, June 18th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kings County Hospital, “T” Building Auditorium, 451 Clarkson Ave, 2nd Floor in Brooklyn, NY.
Both lawmakers continue to push for comprehensive immigration reform and the event will feature families discussing how current immigration laws put them and loved ones in danger of being separated.
