News Americas, PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, Tues. June 13, 2011: A 56-year-old popular banker in Haiti is dead, shot by bandits who reportedly invaded his home Sunday night.

Reports indicate that Guiteau Toussaint, chairman of the National Bank of Credit, was shot in the head fatally after several men broke into his home in Vivy Mitchel, an affluent neighborhood east of downtown Port-au-Prince.

Toussaint was also vice president of the Oasis Hotel which received $2 million in funding from the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund last year.
