News Americas, WASHINGTON, D.C., Tues. Mar. 25, 2014: A 41-year-old Haitian immigrant is the latest to make the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement Agency’s ‘Most Wanted’ list.
Pierre Rodolphe Marcelin who was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti has been on the lam since he was ordered deported on October 20, 1995.
On July 07, 1994 Marcelin, who lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts and worked as a waiter, was convicted of possession to distribute a controlled substance – cocaine, a felony conviction – and sentenced to 7 years in prison. Prior to that, he was convicted on multiple occasions for assault & battery.
Marcelin, who also goes by the name Rudolphe Marcelin, was placed into deportation proceedings for having been convicted of multiple crimes. He also has an active arrest warrant from Cambridge, for failure to appear on a drug charge from 1996.
