News Americas, LONDON, England, Sat. Aug. 4, 2012: Jamaicans Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell and Yohan Blake have all made the semi finals of the 2012 100-m Olympics.
Bolt who dominated the Beijing Games four years ago, winning golds in world-record times in the 100, 200 and 4×100 relay, overcame a slow start to win his heat in 10.09 seconds Saturday to make the semis tomorrow.

“My legs are great. My training has been great,” Bolt said Saturday. “I’m feeling better.”

Powell and Blake also won their heats in a time of 10.04 and 10.0, respectively while American Tyson Gay won in 10.08, Ryan Bailey, in a time of 9.88 and Justin Gatlin, 9.97.

All will go head to head tomorrow at 4:50 p.m. local time (2150 GMT).

Meanwhile, former 100-meter world champion Kim Collins dropped from his race after being disciplined by the St. Kitts and Nevis team for leaving the athletes village.
