News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 31, 2018: After a consecutive three game loss in South Florida, Jamaica Tallawahs have managed to regain their winning streak and are now back on top of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T-20 table.
The Tallawahs now have amassed 10 points, to edge out last year’s CPL champs, Trinbago Knight Riders on the table. They accomplished the feat after beating the Barbados Tridents by five wickets at the Kensington Oval Wednesday to make it five wins from eight matches.
The Trinbago Knight Riders are now second with 8 points, after six matches, with four wins and two losses while the Guyana Amazon Warriors slipped to third, also with eight points, after being in the top spot last week. The Amazon Warriors also have won four matches to date and lost two.
The St. Kitts Patriots are now in fourth with 6 points while the Tridents have been forced into the fifth spot with 4 points. The St. Lucia Stars are at the bottom of the table, also with four points.
FIXTURES
The Tallawahs next play on Sunday Sept. 1st as they take on the Patriots at Warner Park in St. Kitts. Tonight, August 31st, the Amazon Warriors will take on the Tridents at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
