News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Thurs. Oct. 17, 2019: Rapper Kanye West is reported taking his ‘Sunday Service’ to the Caribbean in what will be the first international foray for the musician with this event.
Jamaica media is reporting that West, who has been recently popping up in a new city with his ‘Sunday Service’ since January, is set to be live at Emancipation Park in Kingston, Jamaica tomorrow Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. It is the first time West will be taking his Sunday Service out of the US and has described the Friday free concert event in Kingston as a gift to Jamaica.
He will be accompanied by a 15-member band and his 120-voice choir. The Jamaica Tourist Board is reportedly assisting him in making the service a success.
West’s production manager, Jonathan Coleman was quoted by the Jamaica Gleaner as saying one of West’s employees is Jamaican, and it was her idea to bring the gospel group to the island.
