News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. June 15, 2018: The 2018 soccer World Cup is here and for fans globally, its time to be glued to their tube or devices. Especially, this weekend, when Caribbean and Latin American fans will get to see some of their teams from the Americas in action on Russian soil.
Here’s the matches you should look for this weekend:
Uruguay takes on Egypt today, June 15th at 8 a.m. EST. in their Group A match at the Ekaterinburg Arena.
Tomorrow, Sat. June 16, 2018, soccer giant Argentina takes on Iceland at 9 a.m. in Group D while Peru faces Denmark at noon. EST in Group D.
On Sunday, Father’s Day June 17, 2018, Costa Rica kicks off the day with their face-off against Serbia in Group E at 8 p.m. then its on to the mega match-up as Mexico faces defending World Cup champs Germany at 11 a.m. EST. The other match you will want to stay tuned to is the Brazil versus Switzerland face-off at 2 p.m. EST. in Group E.

The knock-out phase begins on June 30th, with the Round of 16. The semi-finals are set for July 10th and 11th at 2 p.m. ET with the finals scheduled for July 15th at 11 a.m. ET.

Even though there are no Caribbean teams in the tourney in Russia, there is definitely a lot of Latin American teams for Caribbean soccer fans to throw their support behind.
Here’s how you can watch the 2018 World Cup which will run through July 15th.
Since Russia is seven hours ahead of Eastern Time, many of the matches will be held around midday in the U.S. Here’s how you can watch all the matches:
On TV, the games will be on either Fox or Fox Sports 1. In Spanish, you can watch the matches on both Telemundo and NBC Universo.
Online you can stream the games live via FoxSports.com and TelemundoDeportes.com.
You can also pay for a subscription to Hulu Live, YouTube TV, Fubo or Sony’s PlayStation Vue service – all of which include some or all of the World Cup’s U.S. carriers.
