News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 2, 2013: American Airlines will soon add a second weekly flight from Miami on Wednesdays to Martinique, The Martinique Tourism Authority announced Thursday.
Flights will run from November 27th , 2013 to March 26th, 2014.
The American Airlines flights, between the U.S and Martinique, will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays via Miami at 11:30 and 4.25 p.m., respectively.
“This expansion showcases American Airlines’ commitment to Martinique as a tourist destination. Martinique is more than ready to welcome American travelers during the winter season and beyond. With this additional flight and better air service, the island of flowers can become a top Caribbean destination for visitors coming from the United States,” said Karine Roy-Camille, Commissioner of the Martinique Tourism Authority.
American’s additional service to Martinique offers one-stop connections via Miami from hundreds of gateways across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America and Brazil, creating convenient flight options from major metropolitan areas such as: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Montreal, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orlando.
American will use a Boeing 737 aircraft for the new Martinique service, offering the comfort of 16 business class and 134 economy class seats.
