News Americas, LONDON, England, Tues. Sept. 27, 2011: Twenty-eight-year-old Garey Mathurin is the new star of the West Indies Cricket squad.

Debut star, Mathurin, bowled the Windies to a superb victory over England in the second T20 International at the Kia Oval on Sunday night.

The Mon Repos, St. Lucia-born player had the amazing bowling analysis of 4-0-9-3 to destroy the England batting and earn the Windies a 25-run victory.

“I was nervous at the start … but once I got one or two deliveries to pitch in the right areas, I quickly settled down into doing what I can do,” said Mathurin of his performance. “When the England team bowled, we saw some turn from the pitch, so I just tried to mix things up, and make it difficult for them to predict what I was bowling.”

The result gave the Windies a 1-1 series result after England won the opening match on Friday by 10 wickets.
