News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Sept. 28, 2018: Former talk-show host and Lentitiv Labs founder, Montel Williams, on Thursday helped open the 2018 Caribbean marijuana conference in Jamaica.

Williams delivered the keynote remarks at the third staging of the CANEX Business Conference and Expo at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in Montego Bay, St. James.

After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2000, Williams set out to find the safest, most effective form of medicinal cannabis for treating his disease and others, and to bring that product to the masses. In 2017 he launched a new, medical-grade line of cannabis oils and products.

The CanEx Jamaica Business Conference and Expo is a business-to-business (B2B) conference that brings together cannabis industry professionals from 20 countries across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, South, and Central America to discuss the latest advances in the medicinal, health, wellness, legal, regulatory, business and investment landscapes.

Former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox and CEO of Canopy Growth Corporation, the largest cannabis company in the world, Bruce Linton are set to address conference goers today, Sept. 28th.

The conference wraps up on Sat. Sept. 29th.
