The annual conference is a meeting of New York City and state Latino leaders.
De Blasio and his wife Chirlane McCray flew coach to the conference Thursday.
The new mayor-elect will be speaking at the conference which he says he has attended for many years.
Following the conference, he will have some “down time” with McCray.
De Blasio has 53 days from today to prepare to take the baton from incumbent mayor, Mike Bloomberg who served for 12 years.
