News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Tuesday January 21, 2014: The northeast United States has been walloped by another snow storm, the second so far this winter.

New Yorkers were today forced to deal with an estimated 8-12 inches of snow that began early this morning and continued through the evening while D.C., Philadelphia, Delaware and Boston got blanketed.

On the F subway line, at the Ave P subway station, in Brooklyn, New York, visibility was very bad due to the snow storm. Normally on a good weather day, the skyline of Manhattan is a welcome site.

The New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM)  issued a Hazardous Travel Advisory for Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures are not expected to break the freezing mark through Friday. On Wednesday, temperatures will be near 20 degrees with wind chills in the single digits.
