News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Jan. 24, 2014: This book won’t be published until February 28, 2014.
And even then you may not hear about it because it will largely be buried by the major media to keep the other the famous Obama happy.
Isn’t it strange Mark Obama cannot find even one publisher for his book even with his very famous name and brother? It will be self-published. But read Obama’s America …..
And you don’t have to wait to read about the book that will make Barack and Michelle CRINGE as Mark Obama gives lie to Barack’s inflated misleading (just like his Presidency) so called biography “Dreams From My Father,” that launched his political career.
It seems both brothers father Barack Obama Sr. was not the noble character Barack wanted us to believe, and brother Mark knows the truth because he was there living with Barack’s father and his abuses unlike Barack.
Not that it was a secret unless you relied on Barack Obama’s book for his version of the truth. You can understand Obama wanting to make up stories about his father to replace the reality. That is understandable but not publishing them in a book and presenting that fantasy as fact.
Barack’s father lied to his mother from day one. Barack Sr. was already legally married went he married Ann Dunham and she bore a son, the future President. He then abandoned both of them without looking back because he
was offered a better deal by Harvard University to go to school there. Barack and his mother were unnecessary luggage to be tossed aside. And indeed by then it is likely Barack’s mother knew the truth about her “husband’s” past.
You won’t read that in “Dreams From My Father.” You will read of a lovely romance in Hawaii and true love, and a real marriage. Then Barack becomes coyly vague about his father’s disappearance and why he almost never saw him again and did not pursue him even as he got older and could have.
Now along comes Mark Obama Ndesandjo and spoils the party.
What you did not know Barack had a younger half-brother by the same
Father? Seems Barack also failed to mention him.
This from a recent AP story about Mark Obama on December 13, 2013… “President Barack Obama’s half brother is publishing an autobiography that details the domestic abuse that served as the theme for his earlier semiautobiographical novel, which featured an abusive parent patterned on their late father.”
“Mark Obama Ndesandjo also recounts his sporadic but intense encounters with his brother over the years in “Cultures: My Odyssey of Self-Discovery.”
The self-published book, to be released in February, also tries to set the record straight on some points in the president’s bestselling 1995 memoir, “Dreams From My Father.” In that book, Obama seeks to learn more about their father, a mostly absent figure, after learning of his death in a car crash in 1982 at age 46.
“When asked how he would describe his relationship with his brother, he (Mark) said, “Right now it’s cold and I think part of the reason is because of my writing. My writing has alienated some people in my family.”
That is called an UNDER statement.
Back to AP, “In his new book, Ndesandjo recalls alcohol-fueled beatings
meted out by his father to his mother. He recounts one incident in which his father held a knife to his mother’s throat because she took out a restraining order against him.”
“The 500-page book includes an appendix listing a number of alleged factual errors in Obama’s 1995 memoir, “Dreams from my Father,” such as quotes incorrectly attributed to Ndesandjo’s mother.
“It’s a correction. A lot of the stuff that Barack wrote is wrong in that book and I can understand that because to me for him the book was a tool for fashioning an identity and he was using composites,” Ndesandjo said.
“I wanted to bring it up because first of all I wanted the record to be straight. I wanted to tell my own story, not let people tell it for me.”
Don’t take Mark Obama’s word for it – just because he lived through the
reality of Barack Obama, Sr.. Lots of other accounts preceded his.
Barack’s father was a heavy drinking and abusive man who used people the way he used and abused Barack and his mother.
But that did not sit well with the narrative Barack Obama wanted to create for himself. He liked the version in which is father was this noble distant figure who he longed for but circumstance out of their control prevented.
And so that is exactly the fiction he created for himself. It was so important to him he even gave his youthful memoir the whimsical title “Dreams From My Father.” The yearning for a father he adored and wanted more of him.
If you want be generous or cynical call that exercise in creative writing
training for equally bogus Presidential campaign years later that deceived us about who Barack Obama, Jr. really was and is. The Bogus Change Master.
