News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Sept. 12, 2014: Well we got from all the dancing seals in the media just what we would have expected – a rha, rha response to President Obama’s speech. If you are ever President, remember all you have to do is stand up and talk about bombing the Bad Guys and everything else is forgiven.
And it’s an easy way to silence your critics in the other party or anywhere. Not here in Obama’s America. Here we apply an intelligent approach to everything Barack Obama does. It is our job. Even if it is thankless!
There is no actual vision here. Or policies that will create a better world, or increase American influence. All this is, is going after some particularly vicious Low Lifes, but it will not change the equation at all. In this particular region the hallmark of American policy under Obama is to support the degenerates in power like the House of Saud cut throats. The very reason terrorist like ISIS flourish because so many have so little while a few have incredible wealth and power like the Sauds – our allies!
Empty rhetoric like Obama Wednesday night does nothing significant.
So here is what we are going to do – the logical thing none of the other commentators do. We are going to go through the speech itself from last night.
Shall we begin …
“My fellow Americans — tonight, I want to speak to you about what the United States will do with our friends and allies to degrade and ultimately destroy the terrorist group known as ISIL.”
Really? With our “friends and allies” a motley crew of mostly Bad guys themselves, and what will they do? Almost nothing! But President Obama must convince us this is a team effort.
Let’s continue …
“As Commander-in-Chief, my highest priority is the security of the American people. Over the last several years, we have consistently taken the fight to terrorists who threaten our country…. Thanks to our military and counterterrorism professionals, America is safer.”
Really? If his top priority is the security of the American people, Obama has a very limited view of what that means if all it means is bombing the Bad Guys. And are we safer or aren’t we safer now? The military establishment, including CIA,NSA, etc., want it both ways. We hear they are doing such a good job but they keeping telling us they need even more money, and that there are more terrorists than ever. Which is it Obama??
Back to the speech ….
“Still, we continue to face a terrorist threat. We cannot erase every trace of evil from the world, and small groups of killers have the capacity to do great harm. That was the case before 9/11, and that remains true today.”
So in other words, Obama, all this money and all this spending to protect us is not getting the job done. The threat just goes on and one. So why do we keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results?
Continue President Obama …
“In a region that has known so much bloodshed, these terrorists are unique in their brutality. They execute captured prisoners. They kill children. They enslave, rape, and force women into marriage. They threatened a religious minority with genocide.”
Are you kidding me Obama? Only ISIS does this. So do many of these “friends and allies” who are part of your team! ISIS is simply doing the same if with some additional viciousness but not much.

Yes, you must always throw in they are threat right here in America even if there is absolutely no proof they are. Fear sells well.

“But this is not our fight alone. American power can make a decisive difference, but we cannot do for Iraqis what they must do for themselves, nor can we take the place of Arab partners in securing their region.”
Arab partners? Yrs beginning with Saudi Arabia or better referred to as the House of Saud. Big beautiful house filled with, gold, diamonds and wealth which the U.S. protects at all costs no matter what,
Now for some Obama assurances …
“As I have said before, these American forces will not have a combat mission — we will not get dragged into another ground war in Iraq. But they are needed to support Iraqi and Kurdish forces with training, intelligence and equipment.”
No American forces on the ground. This is so important but a bunch of third rate ground forces of questionable loyalty from other countries and non-countries are going to get the job done. Really?
Keep going President Obama …
“We will continue to draw on our substantial counterterrorism capabilities to prevent ISIL attacks. Working with our partners, we will redouble our efforts to cut off its funding; improve our intelligence; strengthen our defenses; counter its warped ideology; and stem the flow of foreign fighters into — and out of — the Middle East.”
Is this the same “substantial counter terrorism capabilities” that failed to pick up on ISIS until now and the same capabilities that have supposedly let us so vulnerable to attack? What are we getting for all this $$$$ spent?
And how about this malarkey …
“America will be joined by a broad coalition of partners. Already, allies are flying planes with us over Iraq; sending arms and assistance to Iraqi Security Forces and the Syrian opposition; sharing intelligence; and providing billions of dollars in humanitarian aid. Secretary Kerry was in Iraq today meeting with the new government and supporting their efforts to promote unity, and in the coming days he will travel across the Middle East and Europe to enlist more partners in this fight, especially Arab nations who can help mobilize Sunni communities in Iraq and Syria to drive these terrorists from their lands. This is American leadership at its best: we stand with people who fight for their own freedom; and we rally other nations on behalf of our common security and common humanity.”
Wow I am impressed!
But there is more ….
“Now, it will take time to eradicate a cancer like ISIL. And any time we take military action, there are risks involved — especially to the servicemen and women who carry out these missions. But I want the American people to understand how this effort will be different from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It will not involve American combat troops fighting on foreign soil. This counter-terrorism campaign will be waged through a steady, relentless effort to take out ISIL wherever they exist, using our air power and our support for partner forces on the ground. This strategy of taking out terrorists who threaten us, while supporting partners on the front lines, is one that we have successfully pursued in Yemen and Somalia for years. And it is consistent with the approach I outlined earlier this year: to use force against anyone who threatens America’s core interests, but to mobilize partners wherever possible to address broader challenges to international order.”
Now bring it home Obama …
“Our technology companies and universities are unmatched; our manufacturing and auto industries are thriving. Energy independence is closer than it’s been in decades. For all the work that remains, our businesses are in the longest uninterrupted stretch of job creation in our history. USA, USA, USA!
Now Barack back to the world stage …

But don’t stop there we want more ….
