It is TIME to STOP this Impeachment MADNESS right now. Today! How wrong HEADED is this? Completely so. It serves no purpose at all, and all it will do is give lots of new attention to Trump and when he is acquitted and found NOT guilty in the Senate. It will give him a VICTORY he does not deserve.
I have tried again and again to tell all of you why Democrats must get RID of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. They are not the future of the Democratic Party; they are the past two dinosaurs, and STUPID too!
What kind of “logic” would lead both of them to conclude impeaching Trump a second time and as a private citizen? It makes it more absurd. Being impeached TWICE and TWICE acquitted – the ONLY President to do so in American history – will be a badge of HONOR for him among Republicans.
And how and why the hell is President Joe Biden sitting on the side lines letting this CHARADE continue while Biden keeps preaching every day how he is going to bring Democrats and Republicans together? With this second INSANE impeachment of Donald Trump. Really, Really?
The worst is yet to come – the so-called trial. This is only going to get more absurd and BORING while the REAL work of government does NOT get done. Hey Nancy; Hey Chuck – we all already know many times over all about the outrageous, dangerous, illegal activities that took place two weeks ago.
What are your trial “managers” (sic) going to accomplish telling us all over again what everyone in America already knows? I watched these “new generation” members of Congress who Nancy & Chuck have assigned, almost all women it seems, parading again and again before the CNN cameras …
They look like they have been awarded some valuable prize by Nancy & Chuck and will be eternally grateful to both of them. Wake up young female, relatively new Members of Congress; it is a SUCKER DEAL.
All we are learning is that younger and female does not guarantee wisdom or intelligence as they gleefully talk endlessly about this impeachment trial. Nobody cares Newbies. We want you to do REAL work in Congress.
Let’s end this right here right now. I do have the answer for them, and everyone, especially my Dear Readers. Do any of you know what ultimate indignity and embarrassment NO President in all of American history has ever suffered?
Here is the answer and the complete solution to this matter ..…
NO President has ever EVER been CENSURED by both the Senate and the House. NEVER! President Andrew Jackson was censured by the House only the House in 1834. And President James Buchanan – anyone remember him? – was CENSURED by the Senate only by the Senate not the House. That’s it.
Ready for the best part. Yes? Any Censure Resolution only requires a majority vote in either the Senate or House. The Democrats can CENSURE Trump for the RIOT and the INVASION of the Capitol without any Republican votes.
Can this get any better? YES, it can! There will be Republicans, very likely a significant number of Republicans in both the House and Senate led by Old Mitch McConnell, who will vote YES on the Censure Resolution.
I don’t want to get you too excited, and don’t bet on it, but it is quite possible most Republicans will vote YES WE CAN for Censure. Why? For a few reasons that come together nicely. Count the ways; there are 4 of them …
1) Unlike impeachment, they can do so and get away with it ESPECIALLY if the Resolution is carefully written by the Democrats. 2) NOT to vote for Censure will make them look bad to too many of their constituents, the media and others, unlike voting against impeachment.
3) Reality is that many Republicans want to damage Trump as he should be because they do NOT want him controlling their own nor the Republican Party’s future, and Glory to God in the Highest and beyond. 4) Believe it or not, many Republicans would like to have a reputation as having integrity, opposing lawlessness and hatred IF they can do so easily, this Censure Resolution just might qualify!
So, let’s write that Joint Congressional Censure Resolution right here right now for all of them Democrats and Republicans ….
“Be it so Resolved that the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives in the spirt of unity and love of our nation and the rule of law, we do hereby solemnly Censure former President Donald J. Trump for inciting and supporting rob rule on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, that led to an invasion of the U.S. Capitol, destruction, widespread fear and the loss of life which would not have happened without then President Donald J. Trump’s appearance, statements and encouragement that fateful day.”
THAT’S ALL nothing harsher, nothing about Trump trying to steal the election and all that. The goal here is what will humiliate and damage Trump the most. It is how many Members vote YES.
Don’t give Republicans any “good” reason to vote NO. And again, not harsher wording; most of all what will make this the worst punishment of a President in U.S. history is the one and only time that any President was Censured by both House and Senate!
