News Americas, WASHINGTON, D.C., Weds. Nov. 12, 2014: Barbados-born singer Rihanna was all covered up but looking sheik as she joined several other top artists in paying tribute to veterans Tuesday night.

The Bajan songstress glammed it up in a shimmering black ensemble as she took the microphone and belted out hits like ‘Stay’ and ‘Diamonds.’

The ‘Concert For Valor: Saluting America’s Veterans event,’ was broadcast live on HBO from Washington, DC’s National Mall.

The 26-year-old was one of biggest hits of the star-studded event, which also saw the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Dave Grohl and Metallica perform.

Afterwards she posted via Instagram: “I sincerely enjoy this and every moment I get to stop and show my respect and appreciation to our real life super heroes! You are the heart, the core and the future of this country and others! Thank you never seems like enough when I’m saying it to people risking and giving their lives for us everyday, but THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts! #1Love #Concert4VALOR”
