June 8, 2018: Caribbean nationals likes millions of his fans around the world, flocked to social media Friday morning as news broke of the reported suicide of famed chef turned author and travel show host, the ‘No BS, No Holds Barred, No Reservations’ brother, Anthony Bourdain.

The New Jersey native, who was found dead in his hotel room in France where he was filming a show, had traveled across the Caribbean, delighting in the exotic cuisine and laid back vibe.

“SUNDAY NIGHTS ARE GONNA SUCK WITHOUT YOU!!!!!! RIP…,” Guyanese trained chef and cook-book author Deborah Charles posted to Facebook while Jamaica immigrant Alcion Roach added: “Devastating news!! Just sad all the way around!! may you rest in peace my friend… #AnthonyBourdain.”

“You will be missed RIP bro.,” Guyanese Morisa Fleming posted as Haitian Deejay Harry Djanite added: “Rest In Peace @anthonybourdain.”

“RIP Anthony Bourdain!!! You were an inspiration to so many. ???,” added Jamaican Sacha Comrie Jackson as Jamaican immigrant Irwine Clare posted a more serious message: “Mental Health!!!!! Please let’s take this Serious.”

“What is life?,” questioned Desmond Dez Brown of Jamaica while on Twitter, one fan said: “I swear Caribbeans loved Anthony Bourdain…he was so bold.  Don’t take me fi heediot was written all over his face. Rest In Paradise.”
