The French brand has unveiled a new capsule collection with a rock ‘n’ roll theme, celebrating classic American art-rock band Sonic Youth. After riffing on the aesthetics of fellow musical legends Nirvana, Joy Division and the Stone Roses, Sandro has revealed its latest capsule collection, a menswear line inspired by Sonic Youth. Currently on hiatus, the band has been a fixture on the alternative music scene since the group was first founded by Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon in 1981. Sandro’s ten-piece collection features t-shirts, sweaters and beanie hats inspired by a mix of American football graphics and 90s grunge style, all produced in a mix of linen, cotton and wool jacquard fabrics.
