News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri., June 14, 2013: Grammy Award winning dancehall star Sean Paul is back in the news, this time not for an insane 80 million lawsuit filed by a jilted lover but for a preview to his new album.
Paul, 40, returns with an upbeat dance track, “Other Side of Love” ahead of his sixth album, which is set to arrive in the fall via Atlantic Records/Warner Music.
Interestingly enough, the song is centered on issues that plague a relationship.
“Baby you don’t have to keep looking through my phone/ If something’s going on, girl, you’d already know,” he states while adding: “We can’t even say two words without a fight anymore/ How did we get here? Baby, I got to know.”
Susanne Persson, a former lover, sued Paul in January claiming that Paul not only had her illegally deported from Jamaica but allegedly drove her to repeated suicide attempts and subjected her to “starvation, homelessness and loss of an ability to generate income,” according to the New York City, Supreme Court-filed documents.
