News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Oct. 26, 2018: The West Indies cricket team got a jolt of “Hope” this week as they were able to tie their second one-day international against India.

That tie is largely due to batsman Shai Hope, who hit a last-ball boundary to take him to 123 not-out and the West Indies to the tie.

Needing five runs on the final ball to chase down West Indies’ target of 322, Hope got four off Indian paceman Umesh Yadav as the tourists ended on 321-7 in their 50 overs.

Still India hosts lead the five-match series 1-0.

The two sides will clash in the third ODI in Prune this Sunday, Oct. 28th. It’s left to be seen if Hope can deliver another jolt of much needed enthusiasm and power to deliver the once Mighty Windies to win the series.
