News Americas, New York, NY, Fri. June 24, 2011: Jamaican singer Singing Melody is among several other Caribbean singers stepping up to help the Caribbean Tourism Organization Foundation.
Singing Melody; Grenada’s Dollarman; Guyana’s Adrian Dutchin, Dominica’s Lazo; Aloe Blacc of Panama; Kamau Georges of the British Virgin Islands; KB of The Bahamas; Dudley and Giles of Bermuda as well as Fae Simon of Carriacou and Jamaica and Jovi Rockwell of Jamaica are among the Caribbean’s best talent on the Love the Music Compilation project.
The project was a partnership between the Caribbean Tourism Organization Foundation and Ryff Music to promote aspects of Caribbean culture through music and spoken word and benefit the Foundation.
The CD is available on the Ryff Music website ) and on-line at iTunes, eMusic and Rhapsod).
The CD includes Dollarman’s ‘Rock this Party’ and ‘Soundz of Freedom;’ Singing Melody’s ‘Want You Back;’ Dudley’s ‘Bermudian Gal;’ Aloe Blacc’s ‘I Need a Dollar’ and Lazo’s ‘Heart and Soul.’
The CTO Foundation is a Not-for-Profit Corporation, formed to provide scholarships and study grants to students and industry personnel who are Caribbean nationals, from CTO-member countries, who wish to pursue studies in the areas of tourism/hospitality and language training.
Ryff Music is a combination independent record label and production company with a focus on niche market music and entertainment.
