1: Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba: The title for best hotel in the Caribbean went to the adults’ only European style beach resort – Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort at L.G. Smith Boulevard 55B in Aruba. This upscale resort is set on the white powder sands of Eagle Beach and features modern, tropical-inspired décor, 104 guest rooms and bungalows with wrap-around terraces.
2 Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa, Grenada: Taking the number two spot is the Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa at L’anse Aux Epines Beach Grand Anse in St. George’s, Grenada. The 30 room resort combines five star service and luxury within a relaxed and intimate environment to create the ultimate Caribbean escape. All rooms face the sea facing and are laid out in a horseshoe shape. If you’re looking for more privacy, a Pool Suite is ideal. Alternatively upgrade to the Penthouse Suite or one of the beautiful private villas on the adjacent secluded peninsula.
3: Royal Palms Hotel, Hamilton, Bermuda: Coming in at number three on the list is the Royal Palms Hotel, Hamilton, Bermuda, located at 24 Rosemont Avenue, Pembroke in Bermuda. This 32-room hotel is located on a tree-lined lane near the city of Hamilton and offers a flash back to the British Colonial era with 19th century manor houses with coral-coloured walls, white shutters and a colonial wraparound porch nestled in lush gardens. It is within easy reach of both Hamilton Ferry Dock and Bermuda City Hall.
4: The Tuscany, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos: At number four on the list is The Tuscany, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos at Grace Bay Beach on Grace Bay Road in Providenciales. This condominium resort is surrounded by palm trees and is a 7-minute walk from Provo Golf Club and 13 km from Providenciales International Airport. It features balconies with ocean views, and private chefs are available to cater to guests needs.
5: Rockhouse Hotel, Negril, Jamaica: Rockhouse Hotel at W End Rd in Negril, Jamaica takes the number five spot on the top 10 list. This boutique hotel features rustic rooms with canopy beds, stone floors and garden-view seating areas as well as private outdoor showers. It is 4.4 km from downtown Negril, 10 km from the Kool Runnings Waterpark and 11 km from the Negril Aerodrome.
6: Eden Rock – St Barths, St. Jean, St. Barthelemy: In the sixth spot is the luxurious boutique hotel complex located at Baie de Saint Jean in St Barths. Its ultra-chic rooms feature balconies, gardens and beamed and/or vaulted ceilings while others have sea views and the suites feature sitting areas and/or pools. 8: East Winds Inn, Gros Islet, St. Lucia: Taking the eighth spot on the top ten list is the all-inclusive East Winds Inn, located at La Brelotte Bay in Gros Islet, St. Lucia. Nestled on the beach, this 30-room resort is about three miles from the Rodney Bay Marina, spread over 12 acres of tropical gardens with rooms scattered in shingle-roofed cottages that feature expensively framed Caribbean prints, colorful butterfly-patterned cushions and pretty mosaic-tiled bathrooms.
9: Spice Island Beach Resort, Grand Anse, Grenada: Nestled on the beach, the 64-room all inclusive Spice Island Beach Resort takes the ninth spot on the list for its polished, upscale vibe that still maintains the laid-back charm of the Caribbean amidst the bustling Grand Anse beach.
