News Americas, LOS ANGELES, CA, Tues. Nov. 19, 2013: Jamaica’s Tessanne Chin had to sweat it out Tuesday night on The Voice results show as she saw four other contestants move on into the Top 8 before her name was finally called.

Chin, looked visibly nervous as both of her team mates on Team Adam Levine –James Wolpert and Will Champlin were saved by America in the Monday night voting ahead of her.

Wolpert was the first saved, meaning he earned the largest number of votes. He was followed by Matthew Schuler from Team Christina and Ray Bodreaux from Team Blake in the second and third saves, respectively.

Champlin was fourth before Chin was announced. She rushed down the stage to hug her coach who told her: “I’m so proud of you.” Her visibly proud dad clapped vigorously in the studio audience.

The sixth contestant saved was Jacque Lee from Team Christina, leaving both Team Xtina and Team Adam completely saved from elimination.
The seventh person saved by the nationwide voting was Team Blake’s Cole Vosbury. That left Austin Jencks, Kat Robichaud and Caroline Pennell in the bottom three with the votes open for five minutes for fans to save one via Twitter.

Pennell was saved in that vote, which left Robichaud and Jencks out of the competition.

The results show opened with Judge Christina and her team of Lee and Schuler doing a superb rendition of a few select songs from late king of pop, Michael Jackson, which included “Bad.” It also featured performances from Blake and his team of Jencks, Boudreaux and Vosbury performing ‘Sharp Dressed Man;’ while Wolper, Robichaud and Champlin joined forces to sing ironically, ‘Sugar We Are Going Down’ and Chin and Pennell teamed up for a duet on ‘I Don’t Want To Wait.’
