News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 25, 2017: In Caribbean parlance, ‘liming’ refers largely to the art of doing nothing. A new Caribbean hotel aims to offer guests the chance to do just that!
The Liming hotel will officially open on November 1, 2018 in the remote Caribbean island of Bequia (Bek-way), the second largest island in the Grenadines at 7 square miles. Reached by air or sea, Bequia’s closest connecting islands are Barbados, St Lucia and St Vincent.
According to The Liming, the goal is to give “escapists” a chance to do nothing.
The hotel will offer exquisitely designed, private one, two, four and five-bedroom villas that include private infinity pools. It will be managed by a new Caribbean hotel management team, formed from world-renowned and multi-award winning Inverlochy Castle Management Company (ICMI) and partners.
“As soon as you arrive on Bequia you get a sense that life on the island is a little different – that you’re entering the real Caribbean,” said Norbert Lieder, managing director. “We wanted to design a concept that embodies this approach to life, something that offers guests the chance to enter the Bequia state of mind with no added gimmicks or distractions.”
