Trinidad Jame$ is among the nominees.
News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. May 17, 2013: Three Caribbean artists have made the list of this year’s BET nominations though the Caribbean and Latin America regions were notably absent in the Best International Act categories.

Bajan star Rihanna, and Trinidad’s Nicki Minaj and Trinidad Jame$ all made the list of nominees.

Rihanna has been nominated in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year and Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award categories for Diamonds.
Minaj is up for Best Female Hip Hop Artist while Jame$ has been nominated in the Best New Artist category.

While the awards this year will have categories for Best International Act: Africa and Best International Act: UK, there is no such category for the Caribean or Latin regions.
