The Jamaica Tallawahs will take on the Guyana Amazon Warriors on August 18th at the Central Broward Regional Stadium in Lauderhill, Fl.

The Tallwahs side includes Pakistan-born, all-rounder, Shahid Afridi, who told Digicel Sports Max this week that he is excited to be playing in the United States.

“I think this is a great entertainment to people who don’t know about cricket – you can show them, you can bring the people for two or three hours and they can learn a lot from this cricket,” he was quoted as saying.

This year’s tournament, which runs from August 8th to September 16th and will once again see some of the best cricketers in the world take part in a competition that in 2017 attracted a combined broadcast and digital viewership of over 197 million fans.
