June 8, 2013: The new Luna Park rides and the Brooklyn Cyclone in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, came alive on Saturday June 8, 2013, as Africans throughout the Diaspora, celebrated the 24th Annual Tribute to The Ancestors, on the broad walk at Coney island, with drumming, poetry and dance.
As the evening celebrations came to an end, playing their drums and chanting, they marched to the sea to give thanks to the ancestors.
