News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. April l5, 2019: Let me take you on a journey of a lifetime in this week’s episode …
Some of you might think it is a worthless journey, as has our government and it appears even all the candidates for President in 2020 except one.
SURPRISE – that one candidate is Donald Trump which identifies an even larger problem as you will learn this week.
I could label this my most important episode EVER – contrary to popular “imagination” orlack of imagination.
Let me bring in one of my regular media ‘partners,’ the Wall Street Journal and this story from March 27, 2019 by author and investigative reporter Basil Hero. Lucky guy, he gets to spend his entire life being a Hero and in fact he is for what he has done with his new book and this WSJ article titled …
“Fifty Years After Apollo 11, the Moon Is More Important Than Ever”
That’s right – the MOON and certainly not Mars. Let me dig in …
“Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took their first steps on the moon on July 20, 1969. Nearly 50 years after the Apollo 11 landing, the moon continues to offer a logical gateway to the universe, a training ground for astronauts and a potential staging area for Mars exploration. ”
“We can do complex things there that then make it a heck of a lot easier to get to Mars than launching some big rocket off the Earth,” says retired astronaut Nicole Stott.”
Yes Mr. Hero gives Lip Service to Mars or he might get stoned to death by the Mars Junkies like Elon Musk, former President Barack Obama, the editors of The New York Times and their space reporter Ken Chang, and countless others in and out of government, in and out of the media, etc., etc..
The Moon Landing which was and is the greatest adventure in all of human history celebrating its 50th anniversary this July 2019, since 1969, has literally become the “enemy” that must be ignored. So Americans and all humans can move on to a far more important mission the ridiculous fantasy of sending humans to the largest God forsaken wasteland in our galaxy the one and only deserts of Mars where America has wasted tens of billions $$$ since the end of the Apollo missions while completely ignoring the Moon.
I will explain why, but first more of Mr. Hero – our hero of this episode …
“The moon has all the resources (water, oxygen, silicon, titanium, iron) to create a base that can be resupplied from Earth, only a three-day journey away. NASA plans to establish a “gateway” orbiting the Moon in the coming years, enabling regular missions to the lunar surface.”
ENCORE …. “The Moon has all the resources (water, oxygen, silicon, titanium, iron) to create a base that can be resupplied from Earth, only a three-day journey away.”
“The aim for any entity seeking to build a permanent lunar base, says Charlie Duke, the 10th person to walk on the moon, would be “to learn how to extract minerals from the moon and to set up moon-based telescopes and other kinds of instruments, and then develop the systems where we cycle crews back and forth like we do on the [international] space station, every three months to six months,” he said.
Now are you ready for this from our hero?
“How will nations behave on the moon when precious minerals and gases like helium-3, or He-3, are at stake? Might a new destructive gold rush be unleashed by He-3, which is rare on Earth but abundant on the Moon?”
“He-3 is used in fusion power, a more efficient alternative to nuclear fission reactors. It’s valued at roughly $5 billion per metric ton or more, according to Gerald Kulcinski, director of the Fusion Technology Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a former member of the NASA Advisory Council. (Gold’s value is roughly $42 million per metric ton.)”
That’s right – $5 BILLION a metric ton of value in lunar soil. FORGET about paltry gold, except surprise, there are likely large amounts of gold, silver and a cornucopia of other valuable minerals on the lunar surface and far below it.
And what is even far more valuable than any minerals or chemicals that is also in abundance on the Moon – WATER!
Now let’s get to another all-important issue Mr. Hero’s explains in WSJ…
China, which landed a probe on the far side of the Moon in January, has long-term plans to build a permanent lunar base to mine for He-3. Mr. Kulcinski and Harrison Schmitt, who walked on the moon in NASA’s last lunar mission in 1972, have called on the U.S. to do the same.
ENCORE … “China, which landed a probe on the far side of the Moon in January, has long-term plans to build a permanent lunar base.”
DOUBLE ENCORE … “China, which landed a probe on the far side of the Moon in January, has long-term plans to build a permanent lunar base.”
Do not focus on He-3 as important as what is far, far more significant is that China has specific plans to DOMINATE the Moon while Musk, American officials, the American media are GLORIFYING the dead planet Mars.
Do you understand why? Because none of them do nor any of the Clueless Democratic candidates for President or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer or Jerry Nadler, the implications in 25 years from now is that when by then almost 10 Billion men, women and most of all children all over Earth look up at night they may see lights glowing all over the surface of the Moon and …
They are all CHINESE lights twinkling brightly at us from an ever-expanding CHINESE network of ever more sophisticated Moon bases – NOT American. Let alone the Trillions $$$ worth of valuable minerals the Chinese will be mining and sending back to China to fuel their economy.
Do you my readers understand the implication of all this?
GAME OVER … China wins global supremacy forever and America loses.
Allow me the privilege of quoting myself from years ago in The New York Times of Sunday, March 1, 1987. Back in the days when the Sunday NY Times was the most important event in journalism each week.
Titled …. “SPACE STATION IS AMERICA’S LEG UP TO THE STARS; COLONIZE THE MOON” (it’s The Times capitalization not mine)
Some excerpts …
“To colonize the moon will require a coordinated national and international effort and accelerated development of advanced technologies. It will provide the experience of living and working in space for extended periods. The lunar surface will be the ultimate ”space station.”
And my close in The New York Times …
“Once we can look up at the night sky to see a resplendent moon and know that ever-increasing numbers of Americans are exploring and developing the lunar surface, then and only then will we be convinced and committed to our inevitable destiny beyond the Earth.”
Let us make it so! If not, we lose forever after winning the first round!
Now go buy Basil Hero’s “The Mission Of A Lifetime.” Learn from it.
