100-days-trumps-america-altBy Arthur Piccolo

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. April 21, 2017: It’s been a Rocky Road for Donald Trump but finally…

Some relief! .At least from CNN by way of Trump’s buddy Bill O’Reilly.

To mark President Trump’s first 100 days in The White House. That is 100 days DOWN and 1,300+ days more. That is thirteen more 100 days and lots of golf.

So what has Donald Trump done so far as President? Not much, which to many is a Blessing. He has done enough as we know, firing 59 missiles for $100 Million and also one “mother of all bombs”  (cost unknown) and thrown out Bill O’Reilly and a White House Easter Roll and …

On Wednesday, Trump’s team, the criminal New England Patriots, came to The White House. Except Tom Brady did not because of “family matters” or was it the BIG endorsement contacts he did not want to lose being seen with Trump; even though  we all know Brady adores The Donald!  Money comes first; Trump understands.

Anyway that aside and lots of other disappointing stuff …

But from Trump’s perspective, it’s been a wonderful first 100 days. As for the so called Democratic Party” leaders” led (sic) by Chucky The Hair Plug Champ  Schumer and Nancy Clueless Pelosi, not so good …..

At least the Comedy News Network has Sicko Bill O’Reilly to replace 24/7 slamming of Trump. But Chuck and Nancy are EMPTY handed with the Russian Election Conspiracy played out  and  without even one idea. I don’t know what is left for Schumer and Pelosi, maybe dinner at Hillary’s and eating some old crow, bitter stew and sour grapes while drinking lots of Koolaid!

I feel their PAIN and it feels very, very good!

NOT that Donald Trump is any more the answer or that he ever was. If it’s a GOOD first 100 days for the rest of us it is because President Donald Trump has done almost nothing except the bombs.

But since he is the President, I will give him some advice; after all this is Trump’s America as scary as that is …

Our partners at The New York Times just happened to publish an Op-Ed piece Thursday that is filled with very good advice for Donald Trump. And since he does not read The New York Times, well to be more accurate Trump does not read anything since he is too busy watching the Bill O’Reilly Show. SORRY, that is in the past he will have to spend more time watching the Comedy News Network and Saturday Night Live.

So here is that Op-Ed piece for Trump and for you too titled ….

“How to Stop Drug Price Gouging”

Yes, I understand this is s dreadful title to put in front of the Republicans who spend all their time on their knees kissing drug industry ass in return for all kind of goodies but still …

Let’s give President Donald Trump a chance to do something good since it will be so, so rare he ever does. Maybe we can slip this by him. It also helps a lot that it is very simple and easy to understand and not too many big words …

“One of Trump’s few universally welcomed campaign promises was to do something about prices of pharmaceutical drugs. Most Americans recognize that prices are too high, and are bothered by the rise of pharmaceutical price gouging: the giant price increase for decades-old drugs and devices by the likes of Martin Shkreli with Daraprim or Mylan with the EpiPen.”

Here is the good part Donald if you are still reading snf not watching CNN …

“What few people realize is that the president already has the power to do something about drug prices if he really wants to. If Mr. Trump wishes to show he’s serious about his populist promise, the place to start is by declaring war on the price gougers.”

Did you hear that Donald? WAR! You like that word very much so let me repeat that for you to understand …

“If Mr. Trump wishes to show he’s serious about his populist promise, the place to start is by declaring WAR on the price gougers.”

This is a chance for you to declare WAR President Trump! Here’s more …

“The key power is found in the “import relief” law — an important yet unused provision of the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 that empowers the Food and Drug Administration to allow drug imports whenever they are deemed safe and capable of saving Americans money.”

OK, OK.  I see there is a problem since it means IMPORTING – but not “illegal aliens” President Trump so please listen to the rest as it gets better; much better  …

“The savings in the price-gouging cases would be significant. Daraprim, the antiparasitic drug whose price was raised by Mr. Shkreli to nearly $750 per pill, sells for a little more than $2 overseas. The cancer drug Cosmegen is priced at $1,400 or more per injection here, as opposed to about $20 to $30 overseas.”

DID YOU GET THAT MR. PRESIDENT?

“Daraprim, the antiparasitic drug whose price was raised by Mr. Shkreli to nearly $750 per pill, sells for a little more than $2 overseas.” A drug that should cost only $2 costs $750 here in the U.S. and its LEGAL because the drug industry OWNS the Republican Party and lots of Democrats too.

President Trump you are better than that aren’t you the drug industry doesn’t own you do they? Let’s assume they don’t so I can finish this episode.

There is also …. “The cancer drug Cosmegen is priced at $1,400 or more per injection here, as opposed to about $20 to $30 overseas.” And those are just two examples of thousands Americans getting SCREWED by drug industry.

And you like SIMPLE answers Donald so read this …

“The remedy is simple: The government can create a means for pharmacies to get supplies from trusted nations overseas at much lower prices. Doing this would not only save Americans a lot of money but also deflate the incentive to engage in abusive pricing in the first place.”

That is it even you can do that just sign your signature! And get this it’s even better you get to ZING Barack Obama who did NOT do this although he easily could have. But Barack is a first class Con Artist as we all know.

And look at this the Op-Ed piece speaks directly to you yes you Donald!

“President Trump can do serious damage to the pharmaceutical price-gougers if he wants to, and will be cheered on by everyone who is not on the payroll of the pharmaceutical industry, and even some of them as well.”

They are making it even easier for you …

“A suitably aggressive beginning would be to select the 10 most outrageous instances of excessive pricing (I would define that as an unjustified price increase of more than 1,000 percent for a drug that is no longer protected by a patent). Go after the worst offenders first: the owners of drugs like Daraprim, Cosmegen, Thiola, Mustargen and Indocin …..”

“All of which have had price increases of 1,000 percent to 5,000 percent. Let companies like Ovation, Turing, Valeant, Mylar and other abusers of the system become a warning to others who might want to make price-gouging their business model.”

Again …. “all of which have had price increases of 1,000 percent to 5,000 percent. Let companies like Ovation, Turing, Valeant, Mylar and other abusers of the system”

These are BAD hombres President Trump … and you can be a HERO then go down to Mar-a-lago and play GOLF and more GOLF!

What a great way to END your first 100 days – a HERO and playing GOLF!
