“Mueller is reportedly examining whether Trump’s tweets about Comey and Jeff Sessions could open him up to a witness-tampering charge.”
YES, Robert Mueller is now looking into Trump’s tweets as a basis for possibly recommending his indictment and/or impeachment. As bad as this nonsense is, the Mainstream Media is reacting to this as serious news!
Robert Mueller has become a TRAP for the Democrats.
I see it and so should you. Too bad so-called Democratic leadership does not.
It is the Democrats NOT Trump who should be calling for an end to the Mueller investigation and for Mueller to issue his report by the end of September 2018 or sooner. This inquiry has been going on for more than a year and everyone knows by now there was no grand conspiracy between Donald Trump and Russian operatives to elect Trump President.
If there were REAL wrongdoing, Mueller would not now be “investigating” (sic) Trump’s very PUBLIC tweets to find some convoluted reason to report to Congress and the American people they amount to witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and who knows maybe bad spelling as a crime – and that Trump should be impeached then go to jail for Treason.
What Trump and his campaign were doing is exactly what Hillary Clinton and her campaign were doing, and every campaign does, most of all for the Presidency. They search near and far and among the Low Lifes for DIRT to slime the opponent. It is an unsavory fact of politics but it is not a crime.
Here is the point if anyone does not get it – not my many regular readers who are so intelligent – but rather those who find Trump’s America searching the Internet. The many who will vote against the Republicans this November and against Trump in 2020 are going to do so no matter what Mueller reports. If he “charges” Trump with bad breath or mass murder it does not matter.
Likewise, all Republicans will vote Republican in November and again for Donald Trump for President in 2020, no matter what Mueller reports.
The PROBLEM for Democrats are the OTHER voters; the all important SWING voters that elected Trump President against all the odds. What many of them see is a NEVER ending
Mueller probe going on for more than year now is NOTHING, and that is the problem. They see Mueller and his “team” as out to get Trump and that means ADVANTAGE President Trump.
STOP it already with all those other indictments; against faceless Russians who will never be seen in an American court. Or Paul Manafort in court for stuff that has nothing to do either with Donald Trump or the 2016 election.
ALL this side show does is reaching levels of absurdity with Mueller “investigating” – whatever that means – Trump’s tweets as high crimes, PROVES to the undecided voters who will decide the outcome of November’s elections and whether or not Trump is re-elected in 2020 – that this is just a Witch Hunt against Trump as he says.
NOW do you understand why “leading” Democrats must be referred to as SO-CALLED Democratic Party leaders – because they are clueless. Wanting this Mueller probe to go on until the end of time is make it worse for them as they very publically cheer Mueller on day after day on the Comedy News Network (CNN) to remind everyone how much they are in bed with Robert Mueller.
It is a lesson in how to LOSE voters and elections to Republicans.
IMAGINE the opposite, and unfortunately that is all you can do is IMAGINE this scenario … the phalanx – where else will you see that word?
IMAGINE the phalanx of so-called Democratic Party leaders all gathering together next week on the steps of the U.S. Capitol to very publicly ANNOUNCE ..
“We as the national leaders for the Democratic Party stand united today before the American people to demand that Robert Mueller conclude his investigation of a criminal conspiracy involving President Donald Trump with Russian operatives to coordinate with Russians to elect Donald Trump.”
“Robert Mueller has had unlimited resources and budget and a large staff of highly sophisticated lawyers and a team of investigative professionals for well over a year searching every possible avenue of illegality on the part of Donald Trump to conspire with Russians to elect Donald Trump President.”
“It is NOW time for Mr. Mueller to conclude his investigation and issue his report to Congress and the public by the end of September 2018 or sooner. The American people need to know the facts before they vote in November.”
That would be REAL LEADERSHIP from the Democrats.
It’s NOT going to happen. Instead the CIRCUS will go on and on.
