News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Tues. Dec. 4, 2012: The ever charismatic Usain Bolt chatted it up with CNN’s Pierce Morgan Tuesday night, covering everything from his love life to his favorite soccer team and of course cricket.
Bolt, wearing a grey suite and a light grey shirt was relaxed on the interview with the CNN talk show host, who seemed thrilled to have the world’s fastest man sitting opposite him.
Morgan also got Bolt to open up about his love life, with the Jamaican sprinter revealing he has only been in love once in his life but is currently single.
Asked what he had to offer women apart from his six gold medals and being the world’s fastest man, Bolt simply laughed and posing for the camera added: “”Look at me! What can I say, man!”
The two even teased each other about soccer and then despite the large American non-cricket loving audience, talked cricket.
The Jamaican Olympian revealed that his plan B was definitely cricket and gave a shout out to his favorite all-time cricketers – Courtney Walsh, the former West Indies bowler and captain, and Pakistan’s Wasim Akram.
Then Bolt was asked about his singing voice and whether he can “basically, sing like (Bob) Marley?”
But Bolt claimed initially he could not sing before reluctantly launching into a fair rendition of the classic hit “One Love/People Get Ready” by Marley & The Wailers.
Bolt also claims he will be ready for Rio and the 2016 Olympic which will see him defending his title for a second time.
Bolt, 26, is the first man in Olympic history to defend both his 100 meter and 200 meter crowns.
